From October 15–17, 2025, the partner network of the HungAIRy LIFE Integrated Project gathered for the 14th time to present the progress of their individual actions, share experiences, achievements, and discuss any possible delays.
On 17 September 2025, the HungAIRy LIFE Integrated Project held its third roundtable discussion focused on air quality plans, which are reviewed every two years by the partner municipalities participating in the project.
On September 9–10, 2025, the ’2nd ATMOSYS Community Workshop’ was held in Budapest, organized by the LIFE IP HungAIRy project, in collaboration with its partner VITO (Flemish Institute for Technological Research) and HungaroMet.
As part of the HungAIRy project, the University of Miskolc established a high-resolution particulate matter (PM) monitoring network in Miskolc and Kaposvár. This network aims to provide a more accurate understanding of air quality and to map environmental pollution.
Thanks to the LIFE IP HungAIRy project titled “Improving air quality at eight Hungarian regions through the implementation of air quality plan measures”, the city of Békéscsaba is now able to carry out extensive tree planting initiatives.
From 3 to 5 June 2025, a multilateral workshop on LIFE Integrated Projects was held in Bystrica, Slovakia, where participants could learn about each other's projects, share best practices, discuss common challenges and reflect together on the possibilities for future cooperation.
As part of the LIFE Integrated Project titled "Improving air quality in 8 regions by facilitating the implementation of air quality plans," Tatabánya City Municipality purchased three Envea Cairnet® mobile microsensor measurement stations, enabling the monitoring of the city’s air quality.
On April 2, 2025, the LIFE IP HungAIRy team from Debrecen presented at the EnCLOD project conference. They showcased the city’s air-quality-improving pilot action - including the planting of shelterbelts - to international partners.
On March 25, 2025, as part of the ACROSS project, foreign partners visited Debrecen to see the progress of the HungAIRy Debrecen pilot project, including the growth of the shelterbelts. They were also given the opportunity to contribute to improving the city's air quality by planting a few saplings.
On March 18, 2025, the coordinating beneficiary of the LIFE IP HungAIRy project, HungaroMet Hungarian Meteorological Service Nonprofit Ltd., organized a workshop for municipal employees.
