The aim of the Green Cadastre is to provide greater transparency regarding Pécs’ green assets, support sustainable urban management and encourage cooperation among residents, civil society organisations, businesses and professionals in protecting the city’s natural values.
On 27 May 2026, representatives of county government offices and the municipalities participating in the LIFE IP HungAIRy project met for the fourth time to exchange experiences and discuss current challenges related to the revision of their air quality plans.
The LIFE IP HungAIRy project was launched in 2019 as an eight-year programme supported by the European Union, with the overarching goal of improving air quality across Hungary.
In recent years, Debrecen has taken a strategic and forward-looking approach to improving air quality. One of the key elements of these efforts is the city’s participation in the LIFE IP HungAIRy integrated environmental project, implemented with support from the European Union’s LIFE Programme.
